Temple Baptist Church is "A Place Where Friends Are Found"
and we want to be your friend and so much more. It doesn't matter
who you are, where you are from, or where you have been, we want
to show you that there truly is someone who cares for you. Let us
show you how to live freely in a bound world. Galatians 2:20

Do
I Have to Attend Temple to Come to RU? No, it is
open to anyone that wants to break free from bondage!
What
Does A Normal Meeting Consist Of? First, we talk
to God. We do that in two ways. First we talk to God in prayer.
Each student is given an opportunity to share a need or request
for God. We then talk to God in prayer over those requests. The
requests are typed out and presented to the students to be prayed
over through the week. We then talk to God in testimonies. Basically
it is centered around a common theme of Talk, Talk, Talk.
Second, we talk to each other.
Reformers Unanimous breaks into counsel groups to share each of
our burdens or blessings. Each group is led by a counsel leader.
If anyone needs personal counsel, it is made available. Counsel
groups are led by volunteer church members and graduate students.
Third, God talks to us. He
does that, Lord willing, during the message. Reformers Unanimous
doesnt just listen to people talk about their problems. We
teach what God says to do about it. We teach the Holy Bible. It
is the only book God wrote, thus it is the only one we use. Each
new camp director is trained in how to present the messages in convicting
yet caring ways, which are intended to encourage the students toward
program participation. A hearer that is a doer is always an over
comer.
Where
Do I Sign Up? Don't
worry, there are no sign-up lists, waiting lists, just come and
meet with us on Friday Nights at 7pm.
Do
I Have To Wear A Dress, Suit, and Tie? No, come as
you are. We don't wear dresses, suits, or ties, and don't expect
you too either.
So
What Do I Have To Do? Just Come. We are looking and
waiting for you!!
