FIRST IMPRESSIONS LAST A LIFETIME

God has blessed Temple with tremendous growth, and to help facilitate continued growth and effectiveness, we have embarked on a renewed emphasis in our “First Impressions Ministry.” What does this mean? In short, it means a focus on being intentional about making all that arrive on our campus feel special from the time they drive onto the parking lot until it’s time to leave.

There are several service teams within the First Impressions Ministry.

The Parking Lot Team: We have over 600 people that attend one of our two services on Sunday’s and most of them arrive by car. Our Parking Lot Attendants directs vehicles to their designated parking spaces. They also ensure there is adequate parking for the elderly, expecting mothers and handicap guest. Our number one priority is to create a welcoming atmosphere to every person that drives onto our campus.

The Greeter Team: Greeters are the second point of contact on Sunday’s as they have the responsibility of providing a warm welcome to all that come through our front doors. In addition, they direct visitors and guests to the appropriate areas of the church, such as the Kid’s Corner, bathrooms and the main auditorium. We want all that enter the foyer to feel as if Temple is their home away from home.

The Usher Team: These gentlemen have several tasks, not the least of which is to make sure all attendees have a bulletin and a place to sit. In addition, they take up the offering, hand out our First Time Attender Forms and provide whatever assistance may be needed before, during and immediately after the service.

The Security Team: These gentlemen’s mission is to provide a safe and secured atmosphere that covers and serves the church body during the weekend services and other events. This is probably the least noticed, but one of the most important teams in this ministry.

The 411 Central Team: The 411 Team display’s a gracious, friendly attitude of giving guest information and answering questions regarding the facilities and ministries of Temple. Our goal is for no one who visits Temple to leave uninformed.

Coming Soon:

1. Shuttling Service Team: Transporting members and visitors from their vehicles to the breezeway as needed.

2. Fellowship Area Team: An area set aside for fellowship before and after service with refreshments.
