1. The Care Team members meets 30 minutes before service for 5 minutes to do two things:

(A.) Focus on FTA's (First Time Attenders) and (B.) Focus on the Father

We come and pray to God for every FTA that walks onto the property that all their needs will be met spiritually and physically.

2. Before the service our desire is to welcome all the FTA's with love. Pray with them about any needs they may have and just focus on being their friend.

3. During the service all FTA's are welcomed by the Pastor and given a prayer request form by the ushers. This form allows them to write down specific request along with their name, address and phone number.

4. This form is picked up right before the offering and is taken up by a selected care giver. Then the care team goes back to the hospitality room and prays specifically for each need written down by each FTA.

5. At the end of the service the care giver goes to the FTA and talks with them about the service and invites them back to the hospitality room to meet the Pastor, so he can get to know them and pray with them about any needs they may have.

6. The hospitality room is a great opportunity for fellowship for the entire care team and all FTA's. Cookies and drinks are provided. After all FTA's have left, the entire care team meets for a few minutes to have praises about the day and to fill out paperwork on all follow up FTA's.

7. On Sunday afternoon the care giver calls the FTA just to let them know we are praying for them, and it was a joy to meet them and that we appreciated them coming and invite them to come back.

8. During the next week each FTA will receive a phone call from a member of the church staff and a letter from the Pastor. They will also receive a call from the team leader to remind them we are praying for them.

9. For the next three weeks each FTA that is a follow up will receive a call from their care giver. They will be asking them about how their week was, about their prayer request, etc.. Focusing on friendships and then inviting them back to church.

 

Care Ministry Team Members

 

Cookie Team - Bakes and brings cookies for each service for FTA's.

Hostess - Takes care of refreshments in the hospitality room.

Care Givers - These are the team members that greet the FTA's and focus on friendships, try to find their needs and fill them and find their hurts and heal them.

 

There is a training class the first Sunday of every month for new care givers from 3:30 to 4:30pm in the hospitality room.
